Real life embarrassment, is more of a pet peeve than anything else. Many do this, so apologies to anyone in advance this applies to here. When someone in your family/circle of friends dies, saying "(s)he is now one with the Force" is not tactful. A person is grieving a significant loss. We don't need a reference to a movie to deal with that, regardless of how awesome said movie is. There's a time and place for incorporating things like SW into real life, and personal tragedy is not one of them. Makes me embarrassed when I see or hear people doing this.

In universe......Luke's ESB "NOOOO" upon Vader's revelation is up there for the OT, Jar Jar stepping in shit for the PT, and Disney owning SW for anything post-Lucas.

Not to derail this, but for those that found Anakin in the PT to be too whiny - I have always believed Lucas was just linking him to this exact scene with his son, Luke. Skywalkers ARE whiny bastards. All of them.

One moment that always gets me... and this gets me into trouble with some hard core fans. Basically when they are assaulting the Death Star and one of the pilots gets hit and Biggs says EJECT!

Eject? to where? and with what?

You actually see that Finn has ejected in TFA, he even has a parachute, but that wouldn't do you any good in the vacuum of Space! and where is he gonna land? Oh yes, on the one thing in the galaxy they're tryting to destroy!

Many hard liners will say that X-Wings have escape pods.... but really? where do they fit them in that tiny cockpit and more to the point I doubt Lucas had escape pods in mind when he wrote the film, that was created years later as part of the merchandising campaign.
