Hasbro Reveals from Celebration Chicago 2019
I picked out some images from the Hasbro panel (which was not officially filmed to my knowledge), I think you guys will find these two interesting and/or controversial.
This set is a "Galaxy's Edge" park exclusive. Interesting because it features Rex from Star Tours. He is featured in the new park as the DJ in the cantina, once again voiced by Paul Rubens. In the park, it will feature "In-Universe" style packaging which will not feature any Disney or Hasbro logos.
This is a weird one they're calling a "Prototype Editon" Darth Vader, this is one of the next SDCC/Convention exclusives. They mentioned in the panel that it is designed to look like a first shot figure and there will be some randomization in regard to the part colours. Not sure I like this one, but I like it a bit more than the re-created vintage style figures from the retro collection. It is the exact same mold as the Retro Collection version which comes out shortly.
The last one I wanted to include here is a SDCC/Convention exclusive 6" Black Series Boba Fett celebrating the 40th anniversary of this figure being released and prematurely celebrating the release of ESB. I might pick this one up because it would be fun to have a loose 6" boba with the vintage colour scheme.
There were a few other reveals of new black series & vintage collection figures/packaging and a Luke X-Wing helmet which were kinda interesting, you can watch the whole panel here (for now).
