Vintage Star Wars Hunting in North Carolina
I was out on a work trip in North Carolina so I took a peek around town in my off time and hit a couple antique markets. Natrually, if anyone were from there, they'd tell me that I went to all the wrong places, but this is what some quick searches yielded. These were both shot on 07.27.2018
This was a maaaasive antique market with hundreds of booths and almost no vintage Star Wars, the two or three items present were somewhat overpriced. It did have plenty of actual NC regional antiques though. It certainly is amusing to see some Episode II nonsense beside a Ringo autograph. Strangely, there was a fair amount of modern Star Wars, I can't figure out if those items just get a pass in an Antique Mall, or if vendors just don't know the difference.
This is another antique market which I stopped at because (after the sheer disappointment of the previous stop) deliberately searched for one that had a toy booth, the one here was called "The Star Wars Shop", according to the manager of the mall, this vendor had been there for 2 or 3 months. He really did have some decent stuff, the Coca-Cola poster at the end was really tempting. Also, you might be able to tell that I got out a better camera for this one.
I hope you guy's enjoyed that. I didn't really buy anything (and wasn't really expecting to find anything I wanted that easily ) but I thought it would be interesting to take a look around. I did get the impression that "The Star Wars Shop" booth was one of the more dedicated locations in the region. There was a comic shop with a handful of moc figures (that I saw on FB) but it was mostly Kenner US Jabba goons, all around $100 USD.
Stop #1: "Antique Market Place Inc." in Greensboro, NC.

Yes, thats a $40 USD Vader case, not even the little name plate barriers inside, not a thing.

Stop #2: "Bush Hill Trading Post & Market" in Archdale, North Carolina

It looks like a Darth Vader Switcheroo beside the X-Wing?
Looks like you had couple interesting shops to browse in, while you where there.

I would have probably bought that switcharoo but it looked incomplete and a bit overpriced even if it was all there.

It does look like it's missing a piece or 2.

I have been trying to put a set of the Koolee cups together for a couple years now - think I have about 12 of the 20 in the set

James, I've never heard of the Koolee cups before. I did some googling, and apparently there are 4 different variants for each of the 20 cups. The 4 different logos are:
Coca-Cola
Coca-Cola / Koolee
Coca-Cola / Koolee / Li'l General
Coca-Cola / Koolee / Shop & Go
