Pink Floyd stamps
I received a postcard from Celebration yesterday(Thanks again Rich H )and on the envelope was a Pink Floyd stamp I googled it and The Royal mail released these earlier this month

Royal Mail must have kept that one quiet Andy? Usually their 'themed' stamps are well advertised.
Which stamp did you get? (regardless it will complement your avatar, 'The Wall' is one of my favourite albums, so I appreciate the walking hammers on Lando).

@Steve, The Atom Heart Mother cow was on the envelope Richard H sent me, I was not aware The Royal Mail were realeasing this set to celebrate 50 years of Pink Floyd Aparantly it was in some of the newspapers but I missed it, I totally agree thou, The Wall is a masterpiece
@Clint, I don't collect stamps mate but I did order the 10 shown in the pic above as i've always been a big Floyd fan ever since I bought the wall album in about 1984 ish

That's awesome! I must try to look if I can get these stamps from the Royal Mail website or something, really digging the Animals one (:

I got this UK First class stamp from a very nice lady on E-bay It was released in 2010 and shows the album cover of the Division Bell

Love it! I'm more interested in the fact that the mail service in the UK is called the Royal Mail. When the Royal Canadian Mint releases something like a Star Trek or Star Wars coin here it always seems a bit funny having the mint's name and a space franchise in the same sentence lol great royal classic rock stamps though!
