Crazy. I can't imagine that AFA case is still intact. Being that the item is that high profile it would be too easy to track back. I wonder what ways they might be able to describe any unique aspects of that specific prototype. Wouldn't be surprised if it re-entered the market ungraded.

Thing is... would this pop back up on the market? This is disgusting and always a danger when showing off your stuff. The theft that goes on at Celebration is appalling.

that is just horrible . I cant imagine how id feel if a friend did this to me . I really feel for Phil . fucking horrendous and to think he was just sharing it with the world , if he had left it home hed stil have it

Probably not if a collector stole it. But hopefully someone with no connections to the vintage world stole it to sell on. But yeah, who the fuck knows.

In this case it will be easy to narrow the list of suspects, as from what I understand it has happened within the last couple of weeks, and it's a friend or relative of him who went to his worshop and stole it while he was here (which makes it even worse and disgusting!).

Yeah, from what he said it's likely one of a handful of "friends" of his or his relatives. If they had known how short the list of suspects would be they might have thought twice. I'm guessing the camera is getting installed today but I doubt the thief will try again. They will be able to google themselves shortly lol imagine seeing all that, and that he knows its a short list of suspects proof is another matter though
