IGN Plays Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II (1997)

IGN live streamed this video around the time that Rogue One came out and as someone who completed this challenging game as a kid, it was both entertaining and infuriating watching these guys have no ability to play it.

Getting these old  PC games to work in 2017 is not very easy so it was nice to see it up-resed and looking good despite the fact that they were terrible at playing it.



For a long time I considered this the best Star Wars game ever made, perhapse in a bit of an eliteist fashion because of how difficult it was, but looking back I'd have to give that title to its sequel, Jedi Outcast (2001), Battle Front II (2005), or Knights of the Old Republic (2003).

Anyone else play Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II (1997)?

I've never played, not much of a gamer. But there should be a few guys on here that would have played this one.

Yeah it's 20 years old lol I know I'd be barking up the wrong tree if I asked about something like The Force Unleashed II (overrated)

That sounds kinda like the skyrim "arrow to the knee" meme but I assume you're telling the truth. Very unfortunate. I loved Kotor and Kotor II but never played TOR. Still going strong by the looks of it. Must be 6 or 7 years old by now.

Hahaha no it was caused by something else (misaligned vertebrae) but a long session gaming session was just the trigger.

I used to play PC

I pretty much only play Halo 5 on Xbox live these days but back then PC was the only game in town lol for serious games anyway
