U.S. Kenner Shipping Cases for Mini Action Figures from the ESB era
Need some help with pictures be it from your personal collection or from your archives. I can't seem to find pictures of the Shipping Cases that holds 48 Mini Action Figures from THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK era from 1980 to 1982 after doing some online searches. If you have these please post them here.
What I can find are pictures of Shipping Cases from STAR WARS, RETURN OF THE JEDI and POWER OF THE FORCE.
Thank you.

Peter check this recently locked thread. The guy may still have them in hand. He has an esb and a Jedi shipper case.

I have the picture saved also, but for some reason the site won't add it. I click upload and it just sits there. Not sure why.

Bryan, thanks for pointing me to this post in RebelScum forum. I have checked the picture of his ESB era Kenner Shipping Carton where it for the TESB 45A "Display Arena Offers" carded figures. I have already accessed his Drop Box and downloaded his pictures.

Peter you can try to reach out to a few guys from this thread. Broc and Mike both have some I think. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Couple of pics of various ones in here: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
On the first page in that stack I see a 4lom offer one, and a plain one on the right of it.

On that last one be sure to check all the pages. On page 6 is a vader case shipper from esb and on page 7 in todd's post is a lot of esb shippers. Also there is one with a sticker that they took just the left hand side. you can see the word empire, but the revenge sticker is the most visible part. ToddG is still very much around I think so you can probably reach out to him. The star wars museum guy (cant remember his name but think it was todd also) is not on the forums anymore since he took huge preorders for a book and hasn't delivered yet. Some might still have email contact for him though.

Bryan, thanks for these updates you have posted. What I will do is to save the images of THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK era Kenner Shipping Cartons only and zoom in specific Assortment Number codes ones. These are the ones that correlates with my forthcoming write up.

Re: U.S. Kenner Shipping Cases for Mini Action Figures from the ESB era
Came across another good and informative thread Vintage Case Assortments?, and I especially love this post by Darren McAleese,
"I remember in 1981 that Snaggletooth was the last of the cantina aliens I needed and I asked the local family run toy-shop if it was possible to get him SPECIFICALLY.....
They seemed to know the case assortment and code to get him and in 3 weeks he was there.....I remember vividly that although around the time figures were ESB on the card front that the figures that came in the assortment were all SW carded and in the case was DSD,Power Droid,Greedo etc.along with other ESB carded figures in the case.....
A mixed case with older stock, hand assembled in the Palitoy factory,perhaps.....???
The toy shop seemed very sure that Snaggletooth would be in the case ordered,so when they opened it in front of me the suspense was palpable for an 8 year old!!!!
My dad thought it was great that they could order the"hard to get" ones that you rarely seen on the pegs in abundance..."

Peter, just reading this part
"figures were ESB on the card front that the figures that came in the assortment were all SW carded and in the case was DSD,Power Droid,Greedo etc.along with other ESB carded figures in the case"
Do you read this to mean the figures were all star wars figures on esb cards in an esb case, or the figures were star wars cardbacks in an esb shipper case? With the next part saying "a mixed case of older stock" it makes me think he means they are on star wars cardbacks. That is interesting.

Yes I noticed that part, which was why I copy and pasted Darren's post from RS forums directly into this discussion. Since he just became my Facebook friend today, I'll have a char with him on this point and see what he can share further with me
