What ugly weather

Man I know the rest of you guys have it rough where you are this time of year, but here in Victoria it was bad for the 11th of December. I had to wear my sunglasses when I went out at work it was horrible, it was so rough we had to keep the bay doors partially closed lol.

This is quite shocking to read. I am feeling terribly sorry for you and hope you and your family will hold on during these harsh weather conditions.

Meanwhile we felt we could not just sit and watch and we have set up a support site to donate money and supplies for the suffering families in Victoria.

I just have to rub it in just like the sunscreen lol. Mind you when we really do get snow omg people here have no clue how to drive at all, I am glad I do.

It sounds like you have a similar climate to us in the Southwest U.K, Larry.
I wouldn't go so far as to say it is particularly warm here, but considering it is December, our average daytime temperatures are between 12 to 15 degrees celsius and nighttime temps are around 10 - 12 degrees celsius.
We have had no frosts, let alone snow. November was quite sunny, but December so far has been very wet and windy.

Our climate is very similar to your Chris wet and cold for the most part, We are considered little Britton over here as the way the city looks and the climate is very much the same .

Larry, you need to send some of that sunshine eastward.  It's 8-10 ˚C at the moment and cloudy as hell.  I forget what the sun actually looks like.

Weather is crazy stupid this year. Been in the 70s and 80s in Texas this week. Frick it is nearly Christmas, bring on the cold front or at least a little cooler air so I can stop sweating.

Not a lick of snow here. There's green grass outside and almost no ice in the pool!!!! Makes it nice for anyone to travel for Christmas but makes it not seem like Christmas at the same time.

Yesterday, Christmas Day, was 10C here (50F for you Neandertals not on metric ).

Compare to two years ago, where we had our first snow mid-November, and had snow cover from that day right through to the following March. Crazy.

Oh well. Fodder for the "global warming" nutters.
