Crazy Vintage prices! Seller = happy! | Buyer = sad.....................
Its been discussed before, but man...... I just sold an item I got for about $200 a few months ago (in an open ebay auction) for $510 (in an open ebay auction)!
My jaw just broke as it fell on the table! WTF!!!!
Crazy... just crazy!
It is great if you are a seller, but sucks if you want nice pieces.
I didn't expect my item to go for that much. I started bidding at $300 which I thought was more than fair, but 500?!?!?!? What the bloody hell?
Anyway........ I'm just buzzed and goofing off at the moment and wanted to share ............
cheers!

Drinks are on Jay.
I have notice the rise in prices lately. But because I usually pick up large lots, I try to keep prices fair. So I don't feel guilty. And I don't usually have anything out of the ordinary.

That is a nice profit. Congrats, Jay.
Crazy times for sure. Steady prices or hype in anticipation of TFA?
I am trying to win one of Sergio's loose variants this week, and judged from the high ending prices on his previous auctions, I am afraid it will be tough to win.

Agree. Me too failed more than once to win one of Sergio's auctions. And you are right this phenomen is hyped by TFA.
But on the other hand as a buyer it is nice to see so many really rare nice pieces popping up at the market. It is expensive - for sure it is. But things are possible to find because many collectors are selling there stuff because time is right for great Profit.
